Academies of Excellence

Over the last 10 years Gildan has created several internal academies, with the specific objective of developing technical skills and providing employees with the opportunities for professional development.

In 2013, Gildan created two Collaborative Training Centers in Honduras, in association with local organisations. Since opening the centers have provided approximately 11,800 man-hours of technical training to 121 textile and hosiery maintenance technicians in structured programs.
